Description

Pharmacist Opportunity

Location: Central Vermont Medical Center (part of University of Vermont Health Network)
Contract Length: 16 weeks (approximately 4 months)
Schedule:

Monday through Friday
Shifts available: 06:30-15:00, 10:00-18:30, or 12:00-20:00
No block schedules; workdays may be Monday to Sunday

Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience
Prior travel experience not required

Required Competencies:

Sterile Compounding Competency (including fingertip and broth tests)
Math competency test
Staff Pharmacist skills including:
- Medication reconciliation
- Order verification
- Management of vancomycin dosing and labs
- Renal dosing

Additional Notes:

IV Solutions to offer
Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
Complete work history required (including bed count, EMR, facility type)

Transportation:

Public transportation is not available in the area
Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
