Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist for Senior Living Community

Location: New Oxford, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

Join a compassionate and patient-focused team providing physical therapy services in a fast-paced, highly rated retirement community. This short-term assignment involves working with older adults across skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatments for residents
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve mobility, safety, and quality of life
  • Collaborate with rehab team, nursing staff, and other healthcare partners
  • Document services (training provided if needed)
  • Support a positive, resident-centered culture within the therapy department

Requirements

  • Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license in good standing
  • Experience in senior care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible, compassionate, and professional approach to care
  • Two-step PPD or TB skin test within 30 days of start date
  • CPR certification through The American Heart Association or The Red Cross
  • Covid vaccination records or exemption
  • Background check and fingerprinting
  • Physical exam performed by a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner
