Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg (Adult) - Night Shift

Job Description

• Night shift position primarily caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric patients (not a pediatric floor; pediatric-only RNs should not apply).
• Work in a general Med/Surg unit providing comprehensive care including medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions.
• Provide holistic care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience (preference for candidates familiar with Meditech).
• Current Vermont RN license or multi-state RN licensure.
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS
• Flu shot required (no exceptions).
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
