Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Cardiopulmonary)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels. The position involves working 3 shifts of 12 hours each, covering day and night shifts with on-call responsibilities.


Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT not accepted
  • Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program as required by licensure
  • Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT)
  • Current certifications required:
    • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NRP (AAP)
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Excellent critical care and ventilator skills and experience
  • Neonatal and pediatric experience required

Additional Information

  • Traveler housing may be available nearby (fully furnished studio or small one-bedroom apartments)
  • Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
