Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist (MT)

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 11 weeks


Job Description

  • Position in the Blood Bank department
  • Schedule: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
  • Must hold a valid New Hampshire license
  • Candidate must live more than 50 miles from Dover, NH

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Medical Technologist (MT)
  • Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard MT qualifications apply

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid New Hampshire Medical Technologist license required (Primary Source Verification mandatory)
  • N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite fit testing; must be completed on specific form)

  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if >6 month break

  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)

Background & Compliance Checks

  • Criminal background check covering past 7 years, including international searches
  • Verification of highest education level achieved
  • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years addresses
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start and annually
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days of start
  • New Hampshire state-specific criminal and BEAS record checks within 30 days of start
  • Additional compliance forms and attestations required prior to onboarding

Documentation & Submission Requirements

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above)
  • Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

  • No religious or medical exemptions for vaccine requirements
  • Fit testing and respirator medical clearance attestation required
  • Must comply with all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start date
