Description

Job Opportunity: Polysomnographic Technician (Nights)

Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Specialty: Cardiopulmonary
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: 3 to 5 days per week, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday)
Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and related interventions
Work under general oversight of a clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee
Experience with Cadwell sleep program preferred

Education & Experience Requirements

Associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography OR successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year at a state-licensed or nationally accredited educational facility, or equivalent experience
Documented proficiency in all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician

Certifications & Licenses

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), with renewal every two years
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) or equivalent
