Job Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - CRT (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Position Summary

  • Accepting CRT or RRT credentials.
  • Must have 2 years of experience as an RRT.
  • Must hold an Ohio RRT license at time of submission.
  • NBRC and BLS certifications required and must be current at time of submission.
  • Work schedule includes weekends as needed; may float to other facilities within the system.

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • Ohio RRT License (required)
  • NBRC Certification (current)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only; RQI acceptable but non-RQI preferred
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required for RRTs working in Emergency Department
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required for RRT-NICU specialty
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for RRT-NICU specialty
  • Background Checks: Criminal background check (FCRA compliant 7-year search), EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG monthly checks
  • Fingerprinting: FBI and BCI fingerprints within 12 months of start; must be completed prior to start (code 4723.09 Nursing)
  • Photo ID: Valid government-issued photo ID required on assignment

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Fit mask test within 12 months of start; must be updated annually (specific approved N95 masks).
  • Negative 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold TB test/T-Spot within 6 months of start; annual renewal required.
  • TB questionnaire if history of positive TB test.
  • Immunizations or titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (or signed declination)
    • Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start; annual renewal required.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31); no declinations accepted.

Additional Requirements

  • Must include 3 years prior work history, with at least 2 years clinical practice in an acute care setting relevant to the assignment.
  • Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start; updated annually.
  • Unit-specific skills checklist required; updated annually.
  • Completion of facility-specific online training modules (4-5 hours) prior to start.
  • Badge photo and badge pickup required before starting assignment.
  • I9/E-Verify attestation required.

Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

  • Scheduling and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview.
