Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Ocala, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

Unit: Operating Room
Number of Beds: 15 OR suites
Patient Ratios: 1:1 in OR
Staffing: Secretary manager, charge nurse, coordinators, RN, ST, OR aides
Equipment: All service lines except burns and transplants
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling & Floating: Varies based on need
Patient Experience Requirements: Varies based on need
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility
Unit Policies: Follow AORN requirements
Awards: Leapfrog A facility

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Minimum 2 years of experience in OR specialty
Must be able to respond to on-call within 30 minutes

Skills & Procedures

Advanced skills in robotic surgery and various specialties including:
- Orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- Plastic surgery
- Trauma
- Urology
- Gynecology
- General surgery
Access to advanced robotic systems: 3 robots including Davinci, MAKO, and Mazor

Additional Information

Facility is a multi-campus hospital with recent expansions including inpatient rehabilitation and medical/surgical units
Emphasis on high-quality patient care and advanced surgical technology

This position is ideal for experienced OR RNs looking for a travel assignment in a technologically advanced surgical environment.
