Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with billable overtime after 40 hours.
• Night shift with orientation dates available throughout the year.
• Patient ratio: 1:4-5.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC (required).
• Overtime, holiday, call back, on-call, charge, and precepting pay multipliers apply.

Requirements

• Specialty: Stepdown / Progressive Care nursing.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Stepdown / Progressive Care experience required (highest requirement).
• Licensure: Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from AHA or ARC required.
• Skills Checklist: Must be specific to Stepdown / Progressive Care discipline.
• References: Professional reference or performance evaluation within the last 24 months preferred.
• Driver’s License: Required.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted.
