Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)
Location: El Paso, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Call Requirements: None
Weekends: Rotate
Unit Information
- Unit: ICU
- Number of Beds: 24
- Number of Staff: 12 (Day Shift: 1 charge nurse + 11-12 RNs; Night Shift: 1 charge nurse + 11-12 RNs)
- Patient Ratio: 2:1
- Equipment: TABLO, Belmont/Level 1 rapid infuser, Camino/Integra ICP monitoring, Flo-trac, Rotoprone, ventilators, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and gtt management
- EMR System: Meditech
- Permanent Positions Available: No
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Years of Experience in Specialty: Minimum 3 years direct ICU experience (higher value taken from description)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Trauma experience (TNCC/TCAR)
Typical Procedures Performed
- Code intubation
- Trauma level 1 intervention
- Code resuscitation

- Dress Code: Galaxy blue/Royal blue scrubs required
