Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Department: Interventional Radiology
Number of Beds: 4 holding spaces
Staffing:
- Fully staffed: 5 RNs, 4 Techs, 1 PCT
- Day Shift: 2 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 PCT
- Night Shift: On Call
Equipment: Phillips Biplane
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have: Current Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Preferred: Neuro IR experience
Years of Experience Required: 2 years in specialty

Typical Procedures

PICC lines
Central lines (C-lines)
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Embolizations
Filter placements
Neuro procedures
Biopsies

Certifications Required

ARRT Certification (RT-R)
BLS

Work Environment & Schedule

Scrub color/attire provided by hospital
After hours coverage on weekdays (6 PM - 7 AM)
24-hour weekend coverage/on call
