Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 24 months of current Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience. The position requires working night shifts in a Med Surg unit. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with advanced technology and nationally recognized programs in heart, trauma, and cancer care.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Med Surg experience (required)
  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active Colorado or Compact RN license (required)
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
  • Certifications must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• Other Requirements:

  • Nursys license verification must show no hits at time of submission
  • Flu vaccination required (declinations accepted with proper forms)
  • Driver’s license required
  • Background check compliance as per facility standards
  • Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests will not be approved within the first week or on holidays and must be less than 7 days

Additional Information

• Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
• All shifts and departments the nurse is willing to work must be clearly indicated.

• Non-billable hours are adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
