Physical Therapist - Winchester, Virginia

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Job Description

• Clinic focuses on a wide orthopedic range including post-operative care, sports injuries, and active adults.
• Patient load expectation: 55-60 patients per week (minimum 11 visits per day).
• Coding productivity target: approximately 4.2 units per visit.
• PTA available in office for support.
• Dress Code: Business Casual
• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatric, Adolescent

Clinical Focus Areas

• Orthopedic conditions such as ACL tears, back pain (post-operative), calf strain, Achilles tendonitis, disc herniation, fractures/stress fractures, generalized low back pain, headaches, meniscus tears, osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, osteoporosis, postural dysfunction, rotator cuff injuries (non-surgical and post-operative care), SI joint dysfunction, stenosis, thoracic outlet syndrome, total joint replacement.
• Neurological conditions including concussion, Parkinson’s disease, vestibular/vertigo.

Requirements

• Ideally 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Open to new graduates (note: reduced pay rate for new grads).
• Professional skills include case management.
• Evaluation/Assessment methods include fall risk assessment.
• Experience with EHR system: NextGen.
