Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota

Job Details

• Schedule: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: 1-2 call shifts during the week and 1 call weekend per 4-week schedule
• Work setting: 2 Interventional Radiology (IR) rooms with 2 Interventional Radiologists and 2 techs on call daily

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing, annotating, and sending images to PACS
• Circulating during procedures
• Procedures include:

  • Lower and upper extremity angiograms
  • Atherectomy
  • Mesenteric angiograms
  • Dialysis fistulagram/declot
  • Nephrostomy tubes
  • Biliary tubes
  • Embolizations
  • Ports placement

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology specialty
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with peripheral procedures
• Preferred experience with Toshiba/Cannon interventional rooms
• Preferred skills: nephrogram, kyphoplasty, internal/external biliary drainage, venous access

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT required
• BLS required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM as applicable (check facility-specific requirements)
• State license verification not required for Radiology Tech positions at this facility

Background & Compliance

• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start, including multi-level searches
• GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
• Education verification required (diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party verification)
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required before start (no pending fingerprints allowed)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start required
• Fit mask (N95) required
• Tdap vaccination required (no religious declinations accepted)
• TB testing per Minnesota state guidelines (2-step PPD or equivalent)
• MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer required
• Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination required
• Varicella vaccination or positive titer required
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (mask required if declined)
• Drug testing (9 panel) required within 1 year of start

Additional Requirements

• Two references from recent employers within 2 years
• Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
• Completion of facility-specific education modules during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
• Candidate must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
• Dress code: RRTs wear dove gray (light gray) scrubs
• Candidate must sign confidentiality agreement prior to start
• Photo for badge required (grey background, no selfies or professional photos unless headshot)
• Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment

• No explicit prior travel experience required
