Job Opportunity: Dental Assistant (Travel/Contract)

Location: Willmar, Minnesota

Job Details

• Licensed Dental Assistant in the state of Minnesota
• Minimum 1 year of experience required in the specialty
• Start Date: ASAP
• Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM start
  • Monday to Thursday end at 5:00 PM
  • Friday end at 1:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call required
• Must live outside of 25 miles from the facility

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Must hold a valid Minnesota Dental Assistant license
• Background checks required including:

  • Criminal background check (within 1 year)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM excluded provider check
  • HHS/OIG excluded provider check
  • Education verification (diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party verification)
• Fingerprinting: Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required prior to start (no pending fingerprints allowed)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Health & Immunization

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask testing (N95 options) required
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination required (no religious declinations accepted)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Minnesota state guidelines
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof of immunity or vaccination required (time sensitive)
• Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination accepted
• Varicella immunity or vaccination required
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required (mask required if declined)
• Drug testing within 1 year of start (9 panel acceptable)

Competencies & Documentation

• Skills checklist required
• Two references from recent employers within 2 years
• Work history verification (3 years for non-clinical roles)
• Photo for badge (grey background, no selfies or professional photos)
• Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start

Additional Information

• Candidates must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
• Education modules will be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
• Dress code must be reviewed prior to start
• Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment

• No explicit prior travel experience required for this position
