Job Opportunity: OT Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Pediatric Occupational Therapist)

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Shift Start: No earlier than 7:30 AM
  • Shift End: No later than 6:00 PM
  • Patient Population: Pediatric outpatient with a wide variety of diagnoses
  • Required Skills: Acute care, outpatient clinic, pediatrics
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Candidate’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility

  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Pediatric OT)

Background & Compliance Requirements

  • Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required before start (no pending fingerprints allowed)
  • GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Drug testing: 9-panel within 1 year (not required for client clearance but recommended)
  • Immunizations and Titers:
    • Tdap vaccination required (no religious declination accepted)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per MN state guidelines
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) positive titer or 2 vaccines required
    • Varicella positive titer or 2 vaccines required
    • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination accepted
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)

Additional Requirements

  • Two references from recent employers within 2 years (required for non-clinical roles)
  • Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
  • Completion of facility-specific education modules during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
  • Photo for badge with specific requirements (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
  • Dress code adherence (RRTs wear light gray scrubs; others to review dress code)
  • Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
  • Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment

Notes

  • Candidates must complete the Minnesota DHS Net Study Questionnaire immediately after signing the contract to initiate fingerprinting clearance.
  • Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration.
  • Candidates may need to travel to a location offering livescan fingerprinting if not within driving distance.
  • Facility does not require annual background check updates unless there is a gap of 30+ days between contracts.
  • Education verification required for all candidates except CNAs.
  • CEUs and competency exams may be required as applicable by profession.
