Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) (Days)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 24 months (2 years) of current PACU experience (highest required experience).
• Licensing:

  • Active Arizona or Compact RN license (required).
  • Nursys license verification must show no hits at time of submission.
• Certifications (all required):

  • American Heart Association ACLS
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • American Heart Association PALS
• Driver’s License: Required (candidates with an Arizona driver’s license will NOT be considered).
• Flu Vaccination: Required (declinations can be applied for). Vaccination status must be included in submission notes.
• Background: Must meet specific background compliance requirements as per client standards.
• Return to Office (RTO):

  • RTO requests must be less than 7 days.
  • RTO will NOT be approved during the first week of assignment or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.

Additional Submission Requirements

• Complete Banner Cover Page with all requested information.
• Resume must include all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
• Skills checklist specific to PACU discipline.
• Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.

Assignment Details

• Shifts: Days
• Facility is a nationally recognized academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center.
• The hospital is known for specialty care including advanced heart care, organ transplantation, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and high-risk obstetrics.

Notes

• Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will not be considered.
• Assignment start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
• Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Client or vendor may cancel assignment with 7 days written notice without penalty.
• A 2% payment discount fee and a 2% technology fee apply on all transactions.
