Description

Job Opportunity: CVICU/CCU Registered Nurse (Nights)

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Seeking experienced CVICU RNs willing to also cover CCU.
  • Facility includes 2 Cath Labs (one is a Hybrid Cath Lab).
  • Must have Day 0 CVICU experience (immediate competency in CVICU).
  • Work at a smaller independent hospital focused on community care.
  • 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotation.
  • Must participate in call rotation: 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed.

Requirements

  • Specialty: Nursing – Critical Care (CVICU/CCU)
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years RN Critical Care experience
  • Colorado RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Additional Information

  • Housing potential: furnished studio and 1-bedroom apartments available near the hospital for travelers (subject to availability).
  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).

Note: Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
