Location: Hermiston, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description
The Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Radiologic Technologist supports diagnostic and interventional procedures by expertly operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and coordinating procedural workflow. This role collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing advanced procedural imaging and radiation safety
- Maintaining sterile fields and hemodynamic monitoring
- Exercising professional judgment and adhering to medical ethics
- Providing appropriate patient care and recognizing critical patient conditions essential for procedure success
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Preferred: BS in Radiologic Science or Medical Imaging
Licenses/Certifications
- Required:
- Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI
- ARRT certification, RT(R)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Preferred: Certifications specific to clinical specialty areas (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale)
Experience
- Required: At least 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab managing fluoroscopy, scrubbing interventional cases, and functioning in a monitor role (higher value between 1 and 3 years applied)
Other Skills/Preferences
- Experience with fixed fluoroscopy equipment, portable ultrasound, IVUS
- Ability to provide care considering patient’s age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial needs
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations
