Job Opportunity: CVICU Registered Nurse

Location: Stuart, Florida

Specialty & Experience Requirements

• Required Experience: Competent in pre/post-op open heart care, including management of Impella, IABP, and CRRT.

• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine within 1 year of start.

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 6 months of start.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
• Required vaccinations or proof of immunity:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella (chickenpox)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
• COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required.

Documentation & Onboarding

• Proof of I9 or attestation.
• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service.
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation.
• Completion of online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome).
• Pass/Fail testing on EKG and Pharmacology during orientation (2 attempts allowed per test).
• State license primary source verification within 30 days of start.
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start.
• 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must carry photo ID during work hours.
• Fingerprinting clearance must be completed and approved before starting; Livescan electronic fingerprinting is required if no prior clearance exists.
• Onboarding modules and compliance documents are high priority and must be completed before the start date.
• Pass/Fail testing is mandatory for RNs and LPNs; failure to pass results in contract cancellation.
