Job Opportunity: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Comfortable managing a patient load of 5-7 patients (Nurse-to-Patient ratio).
• Experience in Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown units is required.
• Surgical and post-op surgical experience is required.

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Preferred
• Active Illinois RN license at time of submission.
• Active Iowa RN license required; if not active, proof of application for Iowa single state or compact RN license must be provided.
• Compact RN license allowed.

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)

Work Environment and Schedule

• Typical hours: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation dates available regularly throughout the year.

Summary

This is a temporary Registered Nurse position in Med Surg/Telemetry requiring solid Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown experience, with surgical/post-op surgical experience preferred. Candidates must hold required certifications and licenses for Illinois and Iowa, be comfortable managing a moderate patient load, and meet submission documentation requirements.
