Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - First Assist (Travel Position)

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with First Assist skills to support a busy Operating Room unit. The role involves assisting surgeons during a wide variety of procedures including orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, gynecology, robotics, vascular surgery, and more.


Unit & Facility Information

  • Operating Room with 29 beds
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Unit staffing includes secretaries and tech availability
  • Equipment includes standard OR tools plus advanced robotics: 5 DaVinci Robots, Mako, and Velys Robots
  • Documentation system: Cerner
  • Scheduling: Flexible with call required
  • Dress code: Scrubs provided

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • OR First Assist Certification

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty
