Location: Derry, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, including 2 years PCU experience
  • Licenses:
    • Must have an active New Hampshire RN license at the time of submission
    • Must have an active Compact RN license
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS
    • BLS
    • NIH Certification
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Unit Information

  • Unit Type: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Number of Beds: 20
  • Staffing:
    • 5 RNs and 2 LNAs, flex with volume
    • Day Shift: 5 RNs
    • Night Shift: 5 RNs
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1
  • Equipment: GE cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps
  • EMR System: Expanse

Skills & Experience Preferred

  • Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
  • Critical drip experience
  • Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and pacer patient care experience (preferred)
  • Prior experience with HCA Healthcare (preferred)
