Description

Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist Tech - Nights (3/16)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
Utilize equipment such as computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent

Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM), three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
Hours: No guarantee of hours

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiopulmonary specialty
State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
RRT and NRP certifications preferred
Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
