Description

Job Opportunity: RN OB Labor & Delivery, Nights

Location: Lewistown, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing
Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries
Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies
Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics
Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope
Interpret fetal monitoring strips
Prepare patients for operative deliveries
Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
Promote a positive birth experience and ensure optimal outcomes for mother and newborn

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Nursing (Labor & Delivery)
Minimum Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated, but must have experience in Labor & Delivery (assumed at least 1 year)
Current Montana RN license required
Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), Stable
