Medical Laboratory Contract Position
Location: Viroqua, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Description
- Work at a Critical Access Hospital as a Generalist in the Medical Laboratory.
- Position suitable for Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician with ASCP certification.
- Perform a full scope of procedures across various lab departments, demonstrating full competency.
- Analyze and report on multiple specimen sources for a variety of patient ages.
Schedule
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation (Wednesday to Tuesday).
- Weekday shifts (Wed, Thu, Fri, Mon, Tue): 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- Weekend shifts (Sat, Sun): 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM.
- Rotating holidays included.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Recent Medical Laboratory Technician experience within the last year.
- Certification as a Health Employee Worker (HEW).
- Certification by ASCP or NCA.
- Experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Experience as a Medical Technologist.
