Job Opportunity: RN Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult - Days

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg setting.
• Care for patients with critical disease states including orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.
• Utilize nursing process to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Work 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotations.
• Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• License: Current RN license valid in Colorado.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar setting.
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
• Other: Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
• Must comply with radius rule: permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

• Traveler housing may be available in remodeled studio or one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (fully furnished, utilities included).
• Call rotation required as part of the schedule.
