Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Saginaw, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform a variety of integrated nursing functions using the nursing process and broad nursing knowledge in a caring manner.
• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, and family support needs.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care based on patient needs.
• Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are met according to the plan of care or clinical path.
• Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement total patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent Med Surg experience.
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Recent travel experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered for this 13-week contract.
