Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification (mandatory)
• BLS Certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some locations)
• Valid professional license verification required (no MA Conditional Licenses accepted)
• N95 Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
• MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza Vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30), no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray
• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry
• Social Security Number trace and education verification required
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists
• Submission of 7 years of work experience and education history including city and state
• Two recent professional references required (minimum one supervisor or above)
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation if fit test required
• Completion of skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission
• Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for extensions
