Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks (1 week onboarding + 12 weeks contract)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week, 8.5-hour shifts (30-minute lunch included)

Job Description

• Must be fully competent on Varian Truebeam linacs and Aria version 15
• Vision RT experience is a plus but not required
• Work setting: Outpatient cancer hospital environment
• Dress code: Scrubs (black pants, any top)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Radiation Therapist license
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA only; Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable; letter of completion not accepted)
• Competency on Truebeam and Aria systems

Background and Compliance Requirements

• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer; boosters required if low titer and no proof of vaccines
• Hepatitis B: Titer or 3-vaccine series (signed declination acceptable)
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; medical exemption requires documentation
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31); mask required if declining
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required but strongly recommended

Competency and Certification Exams
