Description

Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as ARRT in Cardiac Cath, EP, IR, and/or Vascular (higher end of 2-5 years preferred)
Active ARRT certification
BLS (AHA) certification required
ACLS (AHA) certification required
Experience with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations, and monitoring vitals
Must be comfortable taking Stemi call
Willingness to complete the MN Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
Sterile technique experience preferred
Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant required
Experience with EP procedures preferred
RCIS/RCES certification preferred

Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Job Duties

Assist physicians with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, ablations
Monitor patient vitals and perform charting
Use equipment such as Epic charting, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temp pacemakers, Impellas, Carto

Schedule & Work Environment

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: 1-2 times per week, including every 4th weekend
Late team call 1-2 times per week (stay until procedures complete)
Unit has 3 Cath Labs
Scrub experience is a bonus but not required
Floating to other units/departments: Not applicable

Additional Information

Must badge in and out at the facility
Orientation and training details discussed during interview
Candidates living within 80 miles considered local (note: local rate adjustments apply)
