Description

Job Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (X-Ray Tech)

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operate radiographic equipment independently without supervision.
Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and protocols.
Must wear a dosimeter badge.
Experience with Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred.
Shifts are varied (day/evening) with an average of 3 days of call per month.
No guarantee of hours or time off.
Traveler must arrive on island the Thursday before the Monday start date for employee health and HR clearance appointments.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

Must arrive on the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
