Job Opportunity: Temp Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: New London, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide collaborative care planning and implement nursing standards for individual patients.
• Patient ratio up to 6:1, supported by 2 LNA's, a Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor.
• EMR system used: EPIC.
• No block scheduling or 48-hour guaranteed time available.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed.
• Local travelers are not eligible.
• Travel pairs considered only if working separate shifts.

Required Qualifications

• License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be current and uploaded).
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Charge Nurse Experience: Required.
• EMR Experience: EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS (current)
  • American Heart Association ACLS (current)
• Other:

  • Must have own vehicle.
  • Permanent address must be included in profile.
  • Work history and skills checklist for Medical Surgical (current within 1 year) required.
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
• No holiday or overtime multipliers; call and call-back not applicable.
• Non-billable orientation: 0 hours.
• Traveler must be ready and willing to travel and accept the assignment as contracted.
• All scheduling requests and time off must be finalized before submission; no changes after offer.

• Patient care environment is supportive with assistance from LNA's and leadership staff.
• The position is night shift on a Medical-Surgical unit.
• The facility uses EPIC EMR system.
