Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Endoscopy (Travel)

Location: Arlington, Texas
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy / GI

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit: GI (Gastrointestinal)
Shift: On call weekdays 3:15 PM - 7 AM and 24 hours on weekends (approximately 15 days)
Unit Info:
- 2 Endoscopy rooms
- 6 total staff (day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 2 RNs, 1 tech)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- EMR system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Experience: Minimum 1 year of GI nursing experience (highest required)

Preferred Skills & Procedures

Experience with procedures such as:
- EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
- Colonoscopy
- ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
- PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
- Bronchoscopy (BRONCH)
- EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound)

Work Environment & Expectations

Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
Floating: Not applicable
On Call: Rotating schedule with weekday call starting at 3 PM and 24-hour weekend call
