Description
Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Inpatient
Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide evaluation and treatment for a variety of adult patient diagnoses in an acute hospital setting.
- Patient diagnoses include general deconditioning, total joint replacement, post-op ortho, some neuro diagnoses, and general medical-surgical cases.
- Use EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Typical caseload averages 30-40 patients.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, day shift
- No call or weekends
- Will not work alone
- Potential to float to outpatient (OP) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) for intermittent coverage (willingness preferred but not required)
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 1 year recent inpatient hospital experience within the past 3 years
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Willingness to float to outpatient if needed
Additional Information
- Dress code: Charcoal grey scrubs or business casual
- Orientation includes computer-based training, 1-on-1 EPIC and department orientation
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Must disclose if previously worked for the organization with at least a 6-month gap before reapplying
