Job Opportunity: Temporary Radiation Therapist - Oncology (Days)

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a Radiation Therapist on the interdisciplinary team, you will provide and manage care to patients within the oncology specialty. The role may require floating within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Work Schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with billable overtime after 40 hours
• Orientation: Every Monday
• EMR System: EPIC
• Call and Holiday Pay Multipliers apply

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current Radiation Therapy experience (highest required years of experience)
• Experience with CT simulation, Varian True Beam, AIRA Record and Verify
• Experience with SBRT/SRS (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy / Stereotactic Radiosurgery)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and copy of required certifications
• Work history/resume
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience preferred (not required)

• The position involves working day shifts in oncology radiation therapy.
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.
