Travel Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) - Maryland

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• Weekends required: 6 shifts in 6 weeks

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in specialty
• First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for Maryland
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC approved
• Successful completion of Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with:

  • Minimum overall score of 80%
  • 100% score on lethal rhythms section

Required Competencies

• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (Relias Dysrhythmia: Basics A exam) must be current (within 1 year) and meet scoring requirements
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (score 80% or higher within 3 years)
• Color Blind Testing (online or in-person acceptable)
• General Competency Exam (score 80% or higher within 3 years)

Additional Requirements

• Weekend shifts required
• Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps
• Criminal background check within 90 days including multiple state and federal searches
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), updated annually
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• Immunization and health documentation including:

  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (updated annually)
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
  • Documentation of MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B status
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Valid driver's license if driving is an essential job function

Orientation and Facility Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific modules (SITELS) prior to start date
• Annual safety manual acknowledgement
• Photo for badge with specific guidelines

This position is ideal for RNs with MS/Telemetry experience seeking a 13-week travel assignment with night shifts and weekend work in Maryland. First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
