Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Columbus, Nebraska

Job Description

Experienced circulator nurse, especially in Orthopedics, ENT, Endoscopy, General Surgery, and OBGYN
Shift: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Call rotation required
Start Date: ASAP

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse license for Nebraska
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Experience: At least 1 year of specialty experience as a circulator in the OR (implied by job description and specialty)
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Required Documentation & Compliance

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Emergency Contact Form prior to start
Background Check within 1 year (includes SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender)
Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required for all RNs)
Competency Exam as applicable (must meet passing score)
Physical Exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (with specific rules for past positives)
Immunizations or proof of immunity for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (Titer, Declination, or Vaccine Series)
- Varicella (Titer, Vaccines, or History of Chicken Pox)
9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
2 Professional References for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 3 years)
