Job Opportunity: EEG Tech (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (EEG Tech)
- Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; default to standard EEG Tech requirements (typically 2+ years clinical experience recommended)

- Background Checks:
- Comprehensive background check within 90 days prior to start date, including SSN trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender registry
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire and monthly thereafter
- Education Verification: Required if education cannot be verified electronically; diploma or transcripts may be accepted as backup
- State Specific: Wisconsin Caregiver Screening within 90 days of start (mandatory)
- Compliance Exams:
- Pass/Fail Telemetry Testing (EKG/Medication) as applicable
- Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Competency Exam as applicable to specialty
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam: Must be collected within 1 year (Aya standard)
- TB Testing: Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines; TB Questionnaire required annually
- Immunizations:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 doses or positive titers; medical/religious exemptions allowed with approval
- Varicella - 2 doses or positive titer; medical/religious exemptions allowed with approval
- Hepatitis B - Required if providing direct patient care or potential blood/body fluid exposure; vaccination series or declination form required
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap - Proof of one Tdap vaccination from adulthood required
- Flu Vaccine - Required annually during flu season or approved medical/religious exemption
- Meningococcal Vaccine - Required for Microbiology Department staff; vaccine or declination form required
- Drug Testing: Required for all clinical candidates to meet Aya standard; pharmacy department candidates require specific drug screen within 45 days of start
