Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (RN) with experience in scrubbing for specific procedures including:

• TAVRs
• Mitral/Tri Clips
• Carotid stenting
• TMVR
• PFOs
• Watchman procedures

The position is in a Level II Trauma Center with 5 procedure suites and a team consisting of 1 Director, 1 CNC, 4.6 staff RNs, and 5 techs.

Shift Details:

• Day Shift: Full staff coverage
• Night Shift: On-call crew for emergent cases
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1 patient per 3-4 staff members

Equipment Used:
Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, MacLab & Meditech EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (highest required years of experience)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Must have Cardiac Cath, CRM, and PV experience
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Typical Procedures

• Diagnostic and Interventional Cath
• Peripheral Vascular procedures
• Pacers and ICDs
• Watchman device implantation
• TAVR
• EP/ABL procedures
