Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Hermiston, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide care and treatment for patients with respiratory cardiac illnesses.
- Manage patients with COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease.
- Perform clinical assessments of patients' physical and mental status.
- Monitor patients on ventilatory support and observe for cardiopulmonary symptoms.
- Demonstrate technical, clerical, and interpersonal skills.
- Communicate effectively, problem-solve, and work well within a team.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and patient safety goals.
- Participate in required education programs related to DNV accreditation.
- May be floated to other qualified departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist (RT) License.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- CRASE training required if assignment extends beyond 6 months.
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Cardiopulmonary Respiratory Therapy
