Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Primarily 4x9 shifts
• Occasionally 5x8 shifts as needed
• Weekdays, every other weekend, on call
• 50 mile radius restriction

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior travel experience not required

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• SCRQSA
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only, required for Cath Lab, ER/ED, ICU, OR, PACU
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
• Other certifications may apply depending on specific role (e.g., PALS, NRP, Chemo cert, CST) but focus on those relevant to Interventional Radiology

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Criminal background check (within 6 months or 30 days depending on hire date)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Copy of Diploma (if applicable)
• Primary Source Verification of State License
• NURSYS verification (for RNs)
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and titers: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, TB test or questionnaire, Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu seasonal vaccination or declination, COVID vaccine or declination
• Drug testing (10 panel) within required timeframe
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluation
• Performance evaluation if previously completed assignments through any agency
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Facility-specific documents including orientation safety manual acknowledgement, photo for badge, confidentiality agreements, job description acknowledgment, employee health questionnaire, vaccine declination form if applicable

Notes

• Candidates must complete approximately 81 Relias program modules prior to first shift and orientation (up to 8 hours allowed for orientation)
• Badge photo must meet specific guidelines (no hats, sunglasses, shadows, or altered images)
• Facility is strict on obtaining performance evaluations and references
• Candidates who have worked at the facility for 1 year or more must update physical exam annually

This position is ideal for Interventional Radiology professionals with at least 1 year of experience, who are comfortable with a primarily 4x9 schedule and working within a 50-mile radius restriction. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
