Description

Job Opportunity: MRI Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details

Weekend Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Proficient in Epic charting system
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification

Required Compliance and Documentation

Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and fingerprinting as applicable
Drug screening within 1 year, updated annually
Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
Immunizations and health documents:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine if working in high-risk areas
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption (not required for remote workers)
- Hepatitis B documentation or declination
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Varicella immunity or vaccination
Photo for badge (passport style, specific background requirements)
Completion of online Cornerstone modules within 72 hours of assignment
Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required prior to start
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam and annual competency exams
Core annual training (Parts I, II, III) including universal precautions, cultural diversity, pain management, OSHA, and TJC National Patient Safety Goals
HIPAA and Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

Additional Certifications (as applicable)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
NIH Stroke Certification
Lactation Certification (for Women’s RN candidates)

Notes

Candidate must carry a valid Driver’s License for computer access setup
Floating policy must be signed and renewed annually
Candidates must complete all required testing and modules before being cleared to start
Facility is latex-free; latex allergies are acceptable
Fit testing for respirators will be completed onsite during orientation

This position is ideal for MRI Technologists with trauma experience and EPIC charting skills looking for a weekend night travel contract in South Carolina. First-time travelers are welcome to apply based on experience.
