Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Oncology (Days)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation sessions available on multiple upcoming dates.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg and/or Oncology.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ year of Med Surg and/or Oncology experience required.
- Certifications:
- ACLS (required)
- BLS (required)
- NIHSS (required; can be obtained during onboarding)
- Licenses: Valid RN license for Iowa.
- Additional Requirements:
- Driver’s license.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification.
- Copy of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
- High acuity care experience preferred.
Notes
- Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply.
- Charge/precept pay available.
- Orientation dates are scheduled regularly to accommodate new hires.
