Job Opportunity: RN Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult - Nights
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
- Utilize specialized knowledge to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- May provide Intermediate Care in the CCU as needed (requires ACLS certification).
- Work 12-hour night shifts including weekend rotations.
- Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.
- Patient census is growing due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.
Required Qualifications
- License: Current RN license valid in Colorado.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience in Med-Surg (use the higher experience requirement stated).
- Certifications:
- Current BLS (American Heart Association)
- Current ACLS (American Heart Association)
Additional Information
- Must be located at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).
- Housing possibility: furnished studio apartments available nearby (not included here).
