Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours each
• Monday to Friday, 1 PM - 9 PM
• Rotating weekends
• Standby call and holiday assignments as needed
• Floating between multiple units or locations based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Radiology Technician
• Experience working in a clinic setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including SSN trace, nationwide, sex offender, and state-specific caregiver screening (WI)
• Education verification as applicable to specialty
• Drug screening per Vaya standard (clinical candidates)
• Physical exam (Aya standard)
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • TB testing and questionnaire
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or exemption
  • Varicella vaccination or exemption
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination form
  • Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption (annual requirement)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination
  • Meningococcal vaccine or declination (if applicable)
• Facility-specific forms such as caregiver screening and BID form (Wisconsin state mandated)
• Photo for badge (passport-style, no headwear except for religious/medical reasons)

Testing & Competency Requirements

• Telemetry testing (Adult and Pediatric) as applicable, with strict passing criteria and remediation process
• Medication and pharmacology competency exams as applicable
• Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication depending on specialty
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
• National certification verification within 30 days of start and upon expiration (as applicable)

Additional Notes

• Floating assignments may require working in different units or locations during the contract
• Renewal plans for certifications must be finalized by the 15th of the month prior to expiration
• Candidates must comply with all facility and state-specific requirements prior to start date
