Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)
Location: Ogallala, Nebraska
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.
- Must be ready to start on or very quickly after the order start date.
- Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot occur during the first week of assignment or holidays.
- Must be open to working in multiple departments and shifts as specified during submission.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Emergency Room (ER) experience.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming or Compact license.
- Certifications (all must be current and from American Heart Association or American Red Cross):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with proper forms).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- License verification must show no disciplinary actions or hits at time of submission.
- Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start.
- Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room discipline must be provided.
- Resume must include all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
- Background check and compliance requirements must be met and attested to.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
Additional Information
- Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
- Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
- The hospital is an 18-bed critical access facility serving western Nebraska, committed to high-quality, patient-centered care.
