Description

Job Opportunity: EP Lab Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 3 x 12-hour day shifts with 3 late stays as assigned per a six-week schedule
Unit Ratio: 1:3
Float Requirement: None


Job Description

  • Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab as a Registered Nurse.
  • Utilize telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and equipment including Cardio Lab, Medconnect, Zoll, and Life Pak.
  • Parking is available on campus; no shuttle service needed after evening shifts.
  • Facility requires all employees to have the seasonal flu vaccine.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in District of Columbia
  • Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience
  • Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
  • Telemetry experience
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
