Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greeley, Colorado
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Position Details

Discipline: Registered Nurse

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (subject to change based on center needs)
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On-Call: No call, no nights, no weekends required
Weekend Requirement: None
Floating: Yes, clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
Block Schedule: Possible depending on days requested
Facility Type: Outpatient surgery center only
Scrubs: Provided by facility
Charting: Prisma (Epic) at some sites; others use paper charting
Parking: No cost

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience in Orthopedics
Experience in Ophthalmology
Experience in Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Emergency Contact Form
Background Checks (7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
Physical Exam within 1 year of start date
Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
Immunizations or titers for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
Drug Screening (9-panel) within 1 year
Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination (during flu season)
Professional References (2 for travel/allied/per diem acute care; 1 for per diem non-acute care)
Annual Skills Checklist and Competency Exams (including Medication/Pharmacology competency)

Additional Notes

Locals accepted (same base rate)
Facility supplies scrubs to be changed into at start and out of at end of shift
Floating within scope is expected to meet facility needs

This position is ideal for an experienced OR RN with a background in orthopedic and general surgery specialties, looking for a travel contract in an outpatient surgery center setting with a consistent weekday schedule and no weekend or on-call requirements.
