Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - Travel Contract

Location: Round Rock, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Radiology Technician (Rad Tech)
Shifts: Variable shifts including Thursday 1pm-10:30pm, Friday 11am-6:30pm, Saturday/Sunday 7:30am-6pm
Target Start Date: ASAP
Call Requirements: Negotiable
Weekend Shifts: Friday-Sunday, 6:30pm-7am

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 179
Staffing:
- Evening shift: 2 staff
- Overnight shift: 1 staff
Equipment: GE portables, GE Digital room, GE Fluoro CR
EMR System: Meditech
Permanent positions available on unit: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Texas
Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Quality-focused with strong communication skills
Hardworking with a positive attitude

Typical Procedures

Portable X-rays
Trauma imaging

Additional Information

The unit values hardworking, positive communicators who can work independently.
New equipment and technology are available on the unit.
Schedule options include variable shifts with weekend coverage.
